Biography
I Practiced Judo as a child at an organisation called the Cardiff Boys Club. I remember it was tough, but it stayed with me and I decided to take it up again at 18 after a friend suggested we go along to a local club at the Plasnewydd Center.
Turns out it was an Aikido club. I was hooked by the fact it had no competition and you could take your time to learn the art, plus the people at the club were passionate and dedicated.
So, from 1990 to now, I have been part of the BAF and have had a lot of positive experiences. I still really enjoy being part of the Aikido community nationally and internationally, and look forward to all the challenges of working for the benefit of our members.
