Brian Smith

Member of the British Aikido Federation Technical and Grading Committee.

Brian started Aikido at the age of 15yrs in 1975, since that time he has been a dedicated student of the British Aikido Federation (BAF). Regularly attending courses and Summer Schools throughout the UK. He has also attended many International courses across Europe, Hong Kong and has made several visits to Aikikai Hombu dojo, Japan. As well as running a successful University club since 1984, he has also instructed at various BAF clubs, national courses and summer schools.

In 2024 Swansea University Aikido Club and Swansea Bay Aikido club, moved to a new dojo in Swansea city centre. We extend a warm welcome to any Aikidoka visiting the area, to join us for a practice.
